Matsukita

Inspiration
An infamous perfume by Crown Perfumery first created in 1892. Inspired by a legendary Japanese princess who impressed the Victorian royal court with her elegance and grace, this perfume was heavily advertised with hand-painted illustrations during the late 19th century. Today, Matsukita has been reinvented to capture this illusory elegance. With a fresh and invigorating top of green bergamot, pink pepper and a hint of nutmeg, it plunges into a floral and woody heart of Chinese imperial jasmine with black tea. A sense of mystery and grace is captured in this unique perfume by Clive Christian.
