MDCI Perfums is a small, exquisite French brand that was built on the philosophy that fine fragrances are an art more than an industry, and should be a source of pleasure, pride and beauty more than a mere commodity. Born out of admiration for the Renaissance period, with a desire to create contemporary equivalents of the precious objects that belonged to the Medicis and the Sun King and now kept in the Louvre, Musei dei Uffizzi and the Treasure Room in Vienna.
The fragrances are as exquisite as the bottles that house them, with creations by renowned perfumers such as Pierre Bourdon, Francis Kurkdjian and Stéphanie Bakouche. Following the philosophy that perfume is an art, MDCI gave perfumers absolute freedom and no cost limits. The only requirement was not to try to please as many as possible, not to imitate or follow trends. Fragrances as unique as their wearers.
